PechaKucha Night is an entertainment event held several times a year in downtown Orlando. We feature an hour of mingling and socializing, followed by an hour of PowerPoint presentations on a variety of topics, led by some of the most interesting people in the city. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for "chitchat," PechaKucha rests on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes the presentations concise and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
Speakers and topics for v14:
Jennifer Jo De Witt: The Gift of Fear
David Michael Dell’Olio: Exposed: A Traveler’s Tale
Frankie Messina: Do What You Love, Now!
Deborah Mullis: Painting for Process
Cindy Murray : Getting in Bed with Mosquitoes
Kate O’Neal: The Power of “Yes, And”
Matthew van Rooyen: Feel Happy
Ricardo Williams: The Effect of Inspiration
Please note that beginning with v14, tickets prices reflect a $1 additional contribution to the worldwide PechaKucha organization, whose support makes this event possible.
