PechaKucha Night is an entertainment event held several times a year in downtown Orlando. We feature mingling and socializing, local food trucks and beverage vendors, but the heart of the event is an hour of PowerPoint presentations on a variety of topics, led by some of the most interesting people in the city.
Drawing its name from the Japanese term for "chitchat," PechaKucha rests on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes the presentations concise and keeps things moving at a rapid pace. Held in over 800 cities worldwide, PechaKucha Nights are a showcase for creative communications and storytelling.
NOTE: For the first time, we will have TWO SHOWTIMES to choose from: 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Each show is identical, and each requires a separate ticket.
"Orlando has one of the best PechaKucha Nights in the world." ~ Mark Dytham, founder of PechaKucha, speaking live to a global audience at the 100th PKN in Tokyo, February 2013.
